Lots of people ask whether you can walk into Dartmouth from Norton Park. The answer is a definite NO! The road is busy and has no footpath. You can, however, take the bus. See timetable
By Car
Norton Park is located on the A3122, 1 mile outside Dartmouth. The postcode for Satnav is TQ6 0NH. From Totnes or Plymouth: Pass the Sportman's Arms pub on your left hand side, continue for 1.7 miles (approx 3 mins) and Norton Park is on your left. From the town centre: Go up the hill on the main road out of Dartmouth towards Totnes. Pass the BP garage on your left, continue over the roundabout, the road narrows and bends and Norton Park is on your right. |
By Train
The nearest railway station is Totnes - approx 20 mins drive or 30 mins by bus. For train information and tickets try The Trainline or National Rail Enquiries.
There is a bus stop directly outside Totnes Rail station. Please be aware that sometimes, passengers are required to walk a couple of minutes to the main road and catch the bus from there - please check! The 92 service will take you to the gates of Norton Park and takes approx 30 minutes. The buses only go every 2 hours so it is worth coordinating rail and bus times otherwise it could be a long wait!
